If your tank is in good condition, it will likely meet our criteria:
- Tank is upright and at a 90° angle (not tilted to one side).
- Tank is not leaning against any wall or other structure; it is freestanding.
- Tank is fully visible and accessible for inspection.
- There is no evidence of dead grass or vegetation in the vicinity or the area surrounding the piping.
- Tank is free of debris.
- Tank is on four mounted legs and a level concrete surface or blocks.
- Oil lines are covered up until the filter or heating system connection.
- There is no evidence of rust or excessive corrosion.
- Fill and vent pipes are firmly attached with no leaks.
- Fill and vent caps are secure.
