We sponsored the O’Neill’s 5K, a mile from our office
ProGuard is based in Norwalk, Connecticut. We were the champion sponsor of the 2026 O’Neill’s 5K, and in June the team, their families and one toddler in a plastic car ran it through South Norwalk in support of the Norwalk Education Foundation.
A race that starts at the pub
On a bright Sunday morning in June, the ProGuard team lined up on North Main Street for the O’Neill’s 5K — along with their families, a couple of strollers and one toddler who completed the course in a plastic car.
The course runs a certified loop through SoNo and East Norwalk and back to the pub. Some of the team ran it, some walked it, and every bib came with a ticket for a meal and a drink at the finish.
The start line is about a mile from our office on Marshall Street. Norwalk is where we work and where a good number of us live.
How it went
Where the money goes
The O’Neill’s 5K is run each year in memory of Annie Curtin. Proceeds go to the Norwalk Education Foundation, which funds programs in Norwalk’s public schools.
ProGuard was the champion sponsor of the 2026 race.
The race is organized out of the pub on North Main Street and run on closed local streets, a few blocks from the schools the money reaches.
